Spanish Dreams 2 Realty won the 2005 actnow ICT award for best use of broadband to improve accessibility.
The company is a family run property business. Rob Stone runs the UK side of the operation and as he is disabled has his office set up from home. A wireless broadband network allows him to work in different locations around the house to suit his needs.
Rob's sister Paula runs the Spanish side of the business. Originally they specialised in new & resale properties, bars and land in Spain but now they also cover areas like Turkey, Hungary, France, Cyprus and Bulgaria.
They pride themselves on offering realistic prices to the UK market with their website being the main marketing tool.
Rob eagerly awaited broadband for two years before his exchange in Portscatho was activated at the end of July 2004.
