What is the minimum spec PC required to run broadband?

Although most new PCs these days will be more than capable of running a broadband connection it is worth checking that your machine is up to the job. My ISP says that my ADSL Broadband is subject to a Data Cap. What is this?

Some ISPs now offer ADSL broadband connections with ‘data caps’. This means that the amount that can be downloaded within a month is restricted. Whilst this is often reflected in the cost of the connection. actnow recommends that customers use providers who do not restrict the service with a data cap.

What if I have more than one broadband connection for my business?

actnow will provide a subsidy on any broadband connections that a business has. We recognise that some businesses might have remote workers or home connections that are also beneficial to the business. Therefore we subsidise all connections that are for the business use.
