South West Regional Development Agency

The SWRDA goal is to improve the economy of the South West. This involves giving people the skills they need, encouraging enterprise and improving communications. The SWRDA leads the Connecting South West Programme.

One of the world’s leading providers of communications solutions. Its principal activities include IT and networking services, local, national and international telecommunications services, including broadband and internet products and services.
Cornwall College
Established to meet the training needs of local industry,
Cornwall College is now the largest further and higher education
college in the UK.

Defra’s (the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs)
remit includes the pursuit of sustainable development - weaving together economic,
social and environmental concerns.
Rural Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Partnership (RCP)
The Rural Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Partnership (RCP) gives vital public sector support to a wide range of economic community development projects in rural areas of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The Partnership includes all the sub-regional local authorities plus the voluntary and private sector.
